It's really a simple filter change and included in you purchase are step by step instructions for changing your filters, along with a filter diagram.
We also have the whole house 20" filter usually located near your softener. All replacement filters are of the highest quality and Made in USA. We also have the UV light and filter housing wrench(s).
Recommended filters can be purchased separately or in a filter pack:
- 1- Sediment Pre Filter 6-12 months GE Purtrex PX 9-7/8
- 2- Carbon Block Prefilter 6-12 months MatriKx CTO2 (some models used a GAC filter in the 2nd pre filter, we recommend a Carbon Block to avoid Channeling)
- 1- Post Filter Omni CLRO-10 12 months
- 1-Membrane Filmtec TW30181236 18-36 months or as needed many last more than 3-5 years depending on water quality and changing of pre filters
- 1-UV Light 12 months Pentek UV-4 inline UV lamp
WHOLE HOUSE (municipal water) Carbon Block Filter 4.25" x 20" CTO2 6-12 months or for high Sediment Municipal water use the ECP5-20BB filter cartridge.
