Doulton And British Berkefeld ceramic filters start with a Silver impregnated "Sterasyl". The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure inhibits the growth of bacteria giving the ceramics self-sterilizing properties and removes the need for boiling of the filter fo remove or kill the impurities within the ceramic pores.

Can be regenerated with brine.  Uses an ion exchange resin which removes 100% of all nitrates, nitrites & sulfates for approx. 7,500 ppm. Should be changed every 400 gallons or approx. every 6 months.

10 Micron Pleated Sediment Pre-Filter for use in the Doulton HIP Twin or Triple Filter.

If you have higher than usual sediment in your water this water filter makes an excellent pre-filter and gives your Doulton candle a longer life. Use this as a pre filter to your Ultracarb, Sterasyl or Super Carb. Fits in the standard candle housing.
