Genuine Aprilaire 201 air filter is the original OEM expandable "accordion" style high efficiency replacement filter media for the Aprilaire (Spacegard) models 2200 and 2250 whole house air cleaners.
The 201 replacement filter has a rating of MERV 10. The sizes of the 201 replacement accordion style filter are approximately 3” x 24 1/2" x 6 1/8” collapsed and 20” x 25” x 6 1/8” expanded. The filter ships like a collapsed accordion and is expanded into a plastic frame within the air cleaner cabinet.
The manufacturer recommends changing the filter media every 1 to 2 years depending on the operation of your heating and/or air conditioning system.
